With this year's U.S. Open at Bethpage, Phil is working on a sequel to this book titled "The People's Open," in which he will chronicle this historic event. While most of the media will be there to report or record the tournamemtn, Phil will be telling the story as it needs to be told, through the eyes of the people who are watching. Phil is interviewing, taking notes & emails, seeing and feeling the anticipation for the Open. He will write on the excitement felt as the Open plays out, and the impressions felt following the tournament by the people

For any member interested, Phil would appreciate your emails at Philwritesbooks@aol.com. He wants to hear from as many as possible on their impressions of the Black & how they feel the tournament might play out now, right before, during & after and he would like to use many of these commenst (names will not be used) throughout this new book.
