The famous short 16th -- the Binniekill -- At the Shawnee CC. where Johnny McDermott won the Open Tournament. His very indiscreet remarks thereafter were suppressed by all reporters present except one, which brought down on McDermott the crushing rebuke from the U.S.G.A.
